During Tara Lee's travels to South East Asia she became interested in travel photography and film. Having studied Psychology and Sociology at Bristol University she worked as a production assistant for Union Pictures working on travel documentaries for Channel 4.

Her passion for photography developed further so she moved to Paris to study. She has travelled extensively since, taking photos in Asia, Australia and Madagascar.

Her first exhibition was in aid of ‘The Chain of Hope’ charity at the Brompton Hospital in 1999. She took photographs of the London to Peking Classic Car Rally and had her work published in the Telegraph newspaper.

She has also exhibited in London and Lisbon raising money for the Liver Research Trust. Her work is part of ‘55 Max’, a company selling young photographers’ work at affordable prices, on a number of innovative products.

Tara Lee's photos are currently being sold in various shops around London including Paperchase, The Conran shop, Heals and 55 Max. Tara Lee is a member of the Association of Photographers and a book including her work is soon to be published.
